Digital Designer
Salary: £25k - £35k (dependent on experience)
NO AGENCIES PLEASE

We are looking for an experienced creative digital designer to join our growing team, that understands brand and how to apply it creatively online. A true understanding of the digital landscape and the skills required to implement your ideas are essential.

You will need to have...
An ingrained technical knowledge demonstrating an understanding of current web technologies and have the ability to implement using HTML, JavaScript, CSS, AS3, current technological trends and developments and an understanding of accessibility issues (w3c compliancy).

Mark Deeprose

Creative Director & Founder

Mark has been delivering the goods for nearly two decades. He’s spent time at a number of London agencies, including Design Bridge, Creative Leap and Fingal Design.

Mark has stacks of big brand experience, having led major branding and creative projects for some leading luxury, automotive and lifestyle brands including Jaegre-le-Coultre, Aston Martin and William Grant & Sons.

As lead creative and the founder of Uncle, Mark is personally involved in every project that passes through the studio, ensuring Uncle push the boundaries of creativity and strive for perfection at every turn. At the heart of Mark’s passion lies a love of typography and an unforgiving eye for detail.

Mark not only has his hands full running the business but also has two young children to keep him occupied when he's at home.

Head of Digital

Mike is an accomplished digital professional with more than a decade of experience in design, information architecture and usability for the web.

Mike’s legacy includes an impressive portfolio of websites for FTSE100, AIM and techMARK companies, as well as successfully applying his talents to a number of more creative briefs for clients within the music industry.

Mike leads the Uncle development team and brings a wealth of technical expertise and the kind of knowledge that comes only from hard time spent in the digital trenches.

Richard Tidman

Client Services Director

A skilled practitioner in graphic design and brand communication, Richard has a wealth of experience in the management of creative services backed by a robust industry understanding.

Richard enjoys the challenge of working to maximise the opportunities presented by every brief and has a passion and drive that remains undiminished after almost 20 years in the business. With time spent at full service creative agencies in the UK and Australia, Richard has had the opportunity to work with a wide range of clients including Sony, Diageo, Skype, Virgin and Levis - delivering brand and campaign communications both online and offline.

Richard heads up client services here at Uncle and is also responsible for generating new business and driving the commercial development of the agency.

With 12 years experience in design, both online and offline, Richard is a key member of the Uncle team – and responsible for many of our finest creations.

As Head of Design, Richard plays a key role in the majority of briefs passing through the studio, lending his eye for the intricate and applying uncompromisingly high standards. Richard’s passion for all things creative has seen him delivering outstanding design for premium and luxury clients at some of London’s most respected design agencies.
